My suggestion would be to go with purple for a Fall color.
Purple is regal, elegant, and timeless.
Plus your bridesmaids won't look like pumpkins
and how many times can you seriously wear an orange dress?!?
Would you want to look back at your wedding photos and see this?
Or see this?
I would choose the later too. Don't forget that your wedding colors definitely set the mood for your wedding, wedding photos, and will be what you remember for a lifetime besides your committment to your spouse.
